Can I swim or shower with my jewellery?
If you take care of our items the gold plating lasts long. Perfume and soap will speed up the fading or tarnishing process. Be careful wearing your jewellery in a chlorinated pool or in the sea. This can do more damage in one hour than several years worth of wear and tear. Chlorine in swimming pools, hot tubs, and even cleaning supplies, will attack the other metals that are alloyed with our golden coating.
The materials we use
All our gold plated products are made from a brass based metal with a 14 to 24K gold plated layer. Our silver items vary from sterling silver to platinum plated steel. All our items are nickel-free! To take good care of our jewellery and ensure the plating shines for a long time, avoid contact with perfumes, body oils and other liquids. For a light cleaning: gently polish your items with a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid scratching. Our glass bead colours WILL fade over time as they are painted, there are certain colours which discolour quicker than others. Read more information on our materials here.
Do you ship Worldwide?
Yes we do. We ship worldwide. We always create your jewellery with love and send the package
Lead time?
Jewellery collections available in limited stock quantities are ready to ship within 1-2 business days. Please allow rings up to 2-3 weeks processing time (subject to increase at busier periods)
How is the jewellery made? Do you have ethical policies?
All our handmade items are created in London, UK by the Poppet team. We buy our charms from an extensive network of manufacturers and suppliers. We work with ethical manufacturers predominately from the United Kingdom and also other all over the world.
Because all our products are hand-made or hand-finished, there are minor deviations in some of our pieces, as every stone and every piece is unique.
Can I order my bracelet or necklace in a different length?
Sometimes you can, it depends on the kind of chain. Please contact our team with the question and the specific product so we can help you out!
How are your items packaged?
We include a free suedette jewellery pouch with our fine jewellery on orders over £30 to give and store your favourite jewellery pieces. We package your special items in our eco friendly jewellery boxes free of charge if your item is over £50. If your order doesn't qualify and you'd like one of our eco friendly exquisite jewellery boxes, to keep your chosen piece safe and snug, or display your gift beautifully for your friends and family, add this to your order!
Do you do gift wrapping?
Yes! A gift is incomplete until it’s all wrapped up. You can have your chosen piece inside our eco. jewellery box and wrapped in our marbled wrapping paper, topped with our Poppet London ribbon to add an extra special touch. You can find the gift options on each product page.
Can I customise / design my own jewellery?
If you'd like to create your own custom piece, or would like a charm we don't have listed, please get in touch at info@poppetlondon.com and we can see what we can do to suit your desires.
I saw an item on your Instagram profile, but I can't seem to find it on the website. Can you help?
Some of our items have names. If the item is not linked on our Instagram page, enter the name in our search bar and you will be able to find it. If you are still having difficulties finding it, please DM us on Instagram @poppetlondon or email us at info@poppetlondon.com and we will gladly send the direct link to you.
Can I return my items?
We do not accept returns; as our items are made to order, but we will however happily resize a bracelet or necklace if you have ordered the wrong size at a price of £5 per bracelet and £8 per necklace plus postage.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes we do. We sell gift cards with an amount of £20.00 - £ 30.00 - £ 40.00 and £ 50.00. * Please note that you can't buy a gift card with a discount code. You can redeem your gift card in the payment section of your order. You can use your gift card as a payment method and combine it with a discount code* by using the same box. * You can use a maximum of 1 Gift Card and 1 discount code.
How long does it take for my items to be delivered?
We ship with the Royal Mail for highest accuracy, security and speed. Delivery takes around 2-4 business days after your package has been dispatched. International orders around 5-10 business days. Track your order with your track and trace code. You can find your track and trace code and the instructions in an e-mail after we have dispatched your order.
I have a shop and I want to be a wholesale customer is that possible?
